I am 26 years old, I was facing challenges in my marriage caused by a shift in my husband's behavior causing distress and concern for my safety and well-being.
On recommendation through Practo I was guided by Psychologist Ms Hemma DSouza on the importance to address this situation with care and urgency. Prioritising my safety .
Under her guidance I was able to manage therapy for my Husband to control his escalating behavior in difficulty controlling his emotions through cognitive-behavioral therapy .
He was able to develop healthier coping mechanisms, and learn strategies to manage his emotions in a constructive manner.
Ma’am provided a safe and neutral space for open communication between us , this facilitated constructive dialogue to help address issues contributing to the strain in our marriage and explored ways to strengthen our relationship.
This helped me personally too in processing my experiences, and navigating the challenges in my marriage.
Ma’am helped me reflect on my relationship and assess whether it is healthy and fulfilling for me . I was able to weigh the pros and cons of staying in the relationship versus seeking separation or divorce. I was reminded that I deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity in my relationship. I chose my marriage , I am glad I did because with her help my marriage, my relationship with my husband has improved significantly over the course of therapy sessions . Thank you Ms Hemma DSouza .

I consulted with Cognitive Behaviour Therapist Ms Hemma DSouza for issues I was having with anxiety and panic attacks.
I had just 5-6 sessions. We discussed my issues and she provided me with many techniques, such as relaxation exercises, identifying triggers, making me realise that I am accountable for my actions amongst other skills to try to reduce my anxiety and the panic attacks.
Ms Hemma was very understanding and sincere a great coach through all of my anxiety issues teaching me . Her dedication to see me through this giving me skills that I could manage even when I was finding it difficult almost impossible is commendable.
Her genuine concern about my overall health got me feeling better . Today I am happy to say that with the exercises given to me, I am able to handle my anxiety in a much different way without requiring prescription medicines .
I am guided and have been provided with what I needed, not as a quick fix but by giving me the tools to use whenever I may need them .
I am grateful thank you Ms Hemma D’Souza . I highly recommend her as an outstanding Counselling Psychologist and Cognitive Behaviour Therapist.

I was suffering from anxiety anger issues , being in an abusive relationship earlier .
This was affecting my physical health as well constant headaches and dizziness.
I was referred to Ms Hemma DSouza for cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling.
Ma’am made me realise my anger triggered behavior was not healthy .
I am able to handle my relationship better , I realised my well-being is important. I deserve to be in respectful relationship anything else is not healthy.
She taught me skills to manage my emotions .
I am able to care for myself , prioritise my mental health , not give in to disrespectful behaviour or engage in lengthy unproductive arguments. I am definitely much better and in control .

Hi ,
I thank my counselling Psychologist Hemma Dsouza for helping me through exam anxiety.
I am a topper in my school this was consistently possible especially in the last two years with Ma’am’s guidance and direction . The anxiety , panic emotions were interfering with my ability to perform well, causing a lot of problems for me physically and mentally.
Ma’am taught me to utilise self-help strategies, sleep hygiene , designed to help me manage and lower anxiety levels.
I was able to not put so much pressure on myself, to stay calm 30 minutes before my exam time and competitive school-inter school events. The results are progressively successful.

I had therapy with Ms Hemma for six months approximately.
Hemma, reached through to me during that call, in my darkest hour. I felt her warmth and empathy and her ability to look deeper into what was happening with me.
Hemma is a huge part of my recovery.
The connection between my mental health and physical health were much more entwined than I knew , Ms Hemma helped me to make this connection. She also helped me connect how past traumas and stressors had impacted the decline in health.
I have become more confident to make the decisions that are right for my life. I was able to reflect on people pleasing qualities within myself that had lead me in directions that weren’t right for me.
Ms Hemma is an excellent therapist, she showed me compassion, understanding and validation.

Thank you Ms Hemma DSouza - Psychologist Hilcy Wellness , for guiding me through counselling and helping me reduce the separation anxiety my 6 year old child was going through at school .
I was able to identify the problem through guided realisation . Then resolve it with the techniques she showed me along with the help of the school teachers .
Ma’am also made me understand how my own nervousness about school starting was not helpful , managing my own stress was a good way to help my child feel calm too.
My child no longer refuses to go to school or cries .

Hi I was dealing with chronic complaining at home. That made me over stressed and feeling drained . It took a strain on my marriage, contemplating divorce .
